This article is to assist those who are new to trekking in Nepal, here are some of the tips and ideas before land in Nepal for trekking.
Altitude: Nepal is known for its diverse altitude, where low land starts with 300 m from the sea level to highest 8848 m. However you will first land to its capital city, Kathmandu which is 1350 m. Kathmandu is a valley where it consist of hindu spirituality, having thousands of temples in between distance of every 50 m. you will find a temple. You may think since it lies in 1350 m. Equipment and Clothing Ideas: Ask your travel agents to send you list of equipment you need to bring with you, it depends on which season your trekking lies on. Entering Nepal: Entering Nepal means you will land in the capital of the country Kathmandu. You will require entry permit, which can be received upon arrival at the airport. You can obtain any duration of stay as per your holidays plans in Nepal. It requires copies of passport size photographs and Xerox of your passport and pay entry permit charges depending on your length of stay. Airport Pick up and Drop: If you have booked a tour packages from your homeland via internet, it is best that you make sure you get proper receive and drop arrangements to airport from your travel agents.
