Travel Charge - What & When Booking Private Strippers

You've the set the date, found the perfect venue, then the strippers agent tells you its going to cost $$$'s extra for travel.

There is a generalstandard for strippers & topless staff and the payment of travel charges in Victoria - all bookings outside a 30km radius of Melbourne CBD incur a travel charge. Like most industries, you get what you pay for, unfortunately there is no set rule for the amount to charge for travel.

Some agencies charge exorbitant travel rates which are not passed on in full to the performer, while others charge so little they cannot provide quality performers. The general rule-of-thumb is $100 per hour of travel one way. Eg: Melbourne - Ballarat 1hr 25mins $150 travel, Melbourne - Sorrento 1hr 43mins $170, you get the idea.

So that's roughly how it is charged, but why is it charged?

Imagine one day you arrive at work and the boss says he wants you to go to Bendigo to speak with a supplier (or whatever), it will take roughly two hours for you to drive there but he is not going to pay you while you are driving. So in effect you will lose at least 4hrs out of your day travelling and the boss is gong to dock your pay. What would you tellyour boss? Nothing polite springs to mind.

Now put this in terms of a fulltime stripper. The majority of work available is in greater Melbourne, apologies to those outside Melbourne its just the way it is, so every hour spent out of Melbourne is docking her pay. Also strippers don't work 5-days a week like in a regular job, Saturday nights is the big earner, and any time lost travelling cannot be made up.

Things to remember when the agent mentions travel charges:

If the amount she received doesn't match what you paid, call the agent immediately and rip them a new one. Your stripper will love you for it = awesome show

Melbourne Strippers agents who do not pass on the full amount of travel are ripping you off.
